ACCURACY & EVIDENCE
Why Some AI Charts Err
Differences can come from birth data, time standards, day-boundary choices, or AI interpretation of an existing chart. Yuanzi Zhiyi separates input, time calibration, chart calculation, and AI explanation: first produce a reviewable structured chart, then let AI organize the wording.
Birth Data & Time Standard
Clarify solar or lunar birth date, exact birth time, birthplace, and selected time standard (civil time vs. true solar time). Precise input is the foundation of unambiguous chart calculation.
Timezones & Solar Terms
Historical timezone and daylight-saving records first restore the civil-time meaning of the birth record. Longitude and a published equation-of-time approximation are then used to compare whether true solar time crosses an hour or day boundary; year and month pillars still compare the same birth instant with solar-term transitions.
Deterministic Pillars & Cycles
The Four Pillars, Ten Gods, and luck cycles follow the site's declared rules. Traditional terminology and rule lineages reference Sanming Tonghui, Yuanhai Ziping, and Ditian Sui, while modern calendar and time data are handled separately. The same inputs and options should produce the same reviewable structured result.
Structured AI Interpretation
AI organizes explanations from the computed chart and does not recalculate the Four Pillars or luck cycles. Generated wording can still omit context or misread relationships, so the original chart, method pages, and feedback path remain available for review.
VERIFICATION TOOLS
Verify Each Step of a Chart
Start with your birth date, recorded local time, and birthplace. Create a free chart, locate the Day Master, then explore the Ten Gods and luck cycles. Use the solar-time tool to check timing, or read the sample report to see how interpretation builds on the chart.
Calibrate Birth Time
When the birth record is reliable but calibration may cross an hour or day boundary, compare civil time, longitude correction, and true solar time. The tool checks a known time; it does not guess an unknown birth time.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions regarding time conversions, chart calculation rules, AI boundaries, and data privacy.
Why might the same birthday produce different Bazi charts in different tools?
Differences usually come from birth data, historical timezone handling, true solar time, solar-term transitions, or day-boundary options. In particular, choosing 23:00 as the day boundary instead of midnight can change the day pillar; align inputs and options before comparing results. Learn about true solar time calibration →
When is comparing true solar time particularly necessary?
Not everyone must switch to true solar time. Compare both results when the birth record is reliable and the calibration may cross an hour or day boundary; without a boundary crossing, the displayed time can differ while the Four Pillars usually remain unchanged. Calculate offsets with the True Solar Time tool →
How do solar and lunar calendar inputs relate to chart calculation?
Solar and lunar calendars are two input formats. The system first converts them to the same birth date and time, then determines year and month pillars from Lichun and the relevant solar-term transition. Lunar New Year and January 1 are not universal Bazi year or month boundaries. Review calculation standards →
What are the distinct roles of free chart calculation and AI interpretation?
Free chart calculation derives structured fields such as the Four Pillars, Ten Gods, hidden stems, and luck cycles under the selected options. AI organizes an explanation from those results; it does not recalculate the chart, and generated wording should still be checked against the original chart. Understand how AI Bazi works →
